Umpire information

Anyone aged 12 years and older can become a softball umpire.

Completion of Level 1 Certification Course required - visit: Clinic Information for more details and locations of additional softball umpire clinics.

Altona Angels Softball

Rate of pay:

Plate ump:  $50/game ages U11 thru U19

Base ump: $30/game *base ump is subject to availability and is not guaranteed at each game

Payments made 1 x per month via E-transfer

$10/game Returning Umpire Retention bonus:

- For youth up to 21 years of age,

- Residing in the Town of Altona or RM of Rhineland

- In your 3rd consecutive season as an umpire for Altona Angels Softball, earn $10/game bonus for Plate Umpire

Level 1/2 Certification course fee will be reimbursed after completion of Plate Umpire role for 3 games within one season
